Todays brief for our course photo shoot was Street Photography. We were aiming to shoot in B&W with a wide lens to capture people on Grafton Street. (ála Cartier Bresson)
I can't find words to express how hard this brief was, but I stuck to it and got a few photos which were ok. It takes a certain kind of person to not be intimidated standing in front of strangers and taking their photo - and I'm just not that person.
Saying that I'm really glad I did this as it pushed me out of a speeding comfort zone ;-)
I have to pick 3 images to submit so I'd love your feedback......

they are fab though, you did so well, can't have been easy at all. I think I'd have ended up just taking pictures of feet or something!! lol

4th, 2nd and 3rd in that order. :o)
well done audrey, love them all but i do love the one with the water.....the guy looking over the burdies....lol
well done you though, like you say, a certain kind of person can do this, but you did it for one time!! :))
These are all fabby! I wouldn't be able to choose just one. Love the cafe & the bench by the water, but love the atmosphere of all the people.
Second, third and sixth...and well done. Like you, I'm not comfortable taking pictures of people "in the wild" :-), but you've got some great shots.
3rd
6th
2nd

I like the 2nd 3rd and fourth too - did you ask ppl could you photo them? I think I would freak if somebody tried without my permission - great job Audrey.
From the top; 2-3 and 4, as most of the other said! They are really fine all of them, but the one with the man sitting on the bench near the water. It is fantastic!
My 3 are
6 for capturing the interaction
2 for watching the world go by
1 for the depth into the shop.
They are all great, well done.
Great job, Audrey! I would be intimidated to take photos of the strangers.
