I got a fabulous gift from Kaz to take part in the
KC Willis Collage Camp recently. As I've been wanting to experiment more with fabric this was perfect. I decided to make a fabric hanging before I started the class as a control piece of sorts.
This is the piece I made. It was great to actually get the sewing machine out and start playing finally, and I was happy with my finished piece, which is going to a special friend of mine as a gift later in the summer.

Since this I've been working on a larger piece as a result of the
KC Willis Collage Camp, and I'm amazed at the difference and excited by what I've learned in such little time. I'm loving my creative journey at the moment.
Thanks to Joanne for the heads-up I'm entering this for the
Saturday's Workout "Fabric Art" theme this week ;-)
