This another of the fun mini-book samples I did for Linda to show at Crafteire this weekend.
The photos are for one of my college projects and are views of Dublin.

Summer Mini Book
Once again I was honoured that Linda Kelly (Kelly Paper Crafts) asked me to make up some mini book samples for her for to bring to Crafteire next weekend. This is one of her new style chipboard mini-books, and some of the fab chipboard alphas.
These books are so quick and so much fun, I highly recommend them you try them out ;-)

Studio Shoot
Tonight we had our studio shoot - it was good fun. Ok, so I'm not David Bailey (yet) but I really enjoyed this, and would definitely like to play more with this type of photography.
The lovely model - Lolo, was extremely professional and great fun - which helped make it easier for us. This final one was a bit of a joke ;-)

Spring Inchies
The lovely Joanne Wardle encouraged me to take part in her inchie swap - check it out on her blog.
I mentioned to her I'd like to take part but I'd never made an inchie before - she suggested I incorporate my photography into this challenge. I'm really pleased with the result - so I owe a big thanks to Joanne for both the incouragement and inspiration!
The background is stamped and embossed swirls with yellow embossing powder, rubbed over with green ink.

Street Photography
Todays brief for our course photo shoot was Street Photography. We were aiming to shoot in B&W with a wide lens to capture people on Grafton Street. (ála Cartier Bresson)
I can't find words to express how hard this brief was, but I stuck to it and got a few photos which were ok. It takes a certain kind of person to not be intimidated standing in front of strangers and taking their photo - and I'm just not that person.
Saying that I'm really glad I did this as it pushed me out of a speeding comfort zone ;-)
I have to pick 3 images to submit so I'd love your feedback......

Valentine
I made this card for a secret valentine swap.
As it is a stamped image I am entering it in Wednesday Stamper.

Final New Home Card
This is the final new home card of 3 I made recently.
This one needs a little explanation as it's for someone who is moving to a new home where they are keeping chickens ;-) Hence the agricultural theme, and I managed to incorporate some fun wood slices I got recently to continue the 'natural' theme - I borrowed the lovely lady stamp from Lainey and love how it turned out!

Love Wall Hanging
Seems like we are getting very close to February 14, so LOVE seems to be on everyones mind! I made this wall hanging for a challenge set by Carrie on CraftSupplies.
The criteria were:
The piece includes a number of metal hearts and stamped text "Wish Upon a Star" - the small text is WB Yeats poem, Had I the Heavens Embroider'd Cloths.
The criteria were:
For this lovely challenge I would like you to make a hanging - any size - for a loved one. It can be something that could hang on your desk, wall or from your computer with ribbon, wire/cord or beads etc.
1. The hanging must include a heart - but not made of paper.
2. It must also include a rubber stamped image/design or text.

New Home Card
This is a card I made for a friend of mine who has just moved house.
While cropping with Carrie she suggested we both make a card using this house shape. As she used mount board for the base there is a very solid feel to the card which I really like.
Thanks for the inspiration Carrie ;-)
You can see Carries take on these over on her blog

Greystones B&W
This morning we had a shoot in Greystones. The objective was to capture some B&W images while experimenting with ISO and shutter speeds. The conditions were pretty poor and it was quite a struggle to get any shots without getting the camera and lens wet! All of the photos below were taken with ISO 400.
